Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all services brokered, resold, or operated by MainBoard, LLC dba Crucial IP. Underlying carrier and vendor AUPs also apply, and the stricter of the applicable policies controls.
Prohibited activities
Customers and their end users may not use the services to:
- Violate any applicable federal, state, provincial, or local law, regulation, or order in the United States, Canada, Mexico, or any other jurisdiction.
- Transmit, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, exploitative of minors, or that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or fax (spam), or otherwise violate CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CASL, or equivalent laws.
- Engage in fraudulent activity, including toll fraud, traffic pumping, caller ID spoofing intended to defraud, or robocalling in violation of applicable rules.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious code, or operate phishing infrastructure.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or networks, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or perform unauthorized scanning or penetration testing.
- Resell, sublicense, or repackage services without express written authorization.
- Interfere with the proper operation of the network, exceed contracted capacity, or evade contracted usage limits.
Lawful intercept and regulatory cooperation
Where required by law, we and our underlying carriers will cooperate with valid legal process, including CALEA and equivalent lawful intercept obligations, and will respond to subpoenas, court orders, and similar instruments in accordance with applicable law.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take action we deem appropriate, including issuing warnings, throttling, suspending, or terminating services, removing offending content, and cooperating with law enforcement. Wherever practical we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure, but we may act immediately to address threats to network integrity, safety, or compliance.

This AUP supplements, and does not replace, the customer-specific Master Service Agreement, Service Order Form, and underlying carrier or vendor policies, which control where they exist.
